◆Speed channel and speed measuring system in the world

The federal Telecommunications Commission FCC (Fededral Communication Commission) provides that the world police speed channel has X, K, Ka, Laser.

The following frequency is the frequency of each channel:

 S band:2.445 GHz (used in 50 '~60 ")

X band:10.525 GHz 

 K band:24.150 GHZ 

 Ka band:33.40~36.00 GHz (frequency width 2.6 GHz, also known as Super-Wind Ka band)

 Laser: Infrared 800~1100nm 

In addition, the European regulation channel has Ku band: 13.450 GHz (magazine advertisements called Gatso 24 Ku and Gatso 33 Ku two kinds of speed measuring channels, it is called K band and Ka band, not the new speed measurement channel of Ku).

◆The current speed measuring system channel in China and the way it appears

At present, the domestic speed measuring system can be divided into the United States and Europe and the fixed camera system. The channel has X, K, Ka band and Laser, and the European rules have Ku band. The fixed camera system has X, K, Ku band, and S induction coils.


1、X band(10.525 GHz +/- 50MHz):

The round shape of the radar, continuous wave emission, measuring distance is 150~4750m, but X band intercept radar can not lock the vehicle in traffic, so traffic is usually the first to be stopped. But by the Telecommunications Bureau launch station, fourth strong wave devices, high-voltage wire, radio communication, remote control, electric door controller, road traffic counter and so on. At present, the X band radar is less combined with the photographic system, and the X band fixed speed camera system belongs to the earlier photographic system. When the vehicle is detected, the picture is automatically transferred to the monitoring management center in 1 seconds. At present, the X band police car and the X radar gun are at the highest speed range of 200~300km/h.


  


2、K band(24.150 GHz +/- 100MHz):

This K band radar can occur in several ways, the car speed interceptor, fixed speed cameras, handheld radar gun and three foot speed camera. The flow velocity of short distance is 150m, the K band radar is easily affected by rainfall and humidity. K band X band aircraft radar is relatively advanced, can also direct collocation camera photographic evidence, fixed K band and K band mobile speed camera tripod three is the collocation. But most of the domestic K band fixed camera, K band mobile speed camera system and fixed camera system.


  


3、Ku band(13.450 GHz):

Usually we hear the flow of three feet, the camouflage car is to install this Ku band speed measuring radar. The Gasto 13 Ku band radar velocity measurement system is composed of three parts, the speed measuring radar's interpretation speed computer host and the three parts of the ROC camera. The radar can be adjusted to "go" and "come to" two modes, its erection mode can be ground type, three foot type, and camouflage car (police car) type. The main configuration of the host, radar and camera on the three foot rack is the most standard configuration method of Gatso 13, the speed is 20 Km~ 250Km, and the shortest detection distance is 18 m, so do not think that the speed is higher than XXX Km/h, it will not be photographed wrong idea. At present, K band and Ka band radar are the mainstream of domestic mobile photographic system.

4、Ka band(33.40~36.00GHz)

There are several ways for Ka band radar to appear. One is mobile three tripod, the other is handheld radar gun, and the three is speed radar similar to X band radar. At present, there are only the former two, so the third will not repeat it.

The Laser velocity measurement system can be divided into speed gun and speed camera system. The beauty rule laser velocimeter gun LIDAR gun (Laser infrared detectionand ranging) uses the scattered infrared laser as the speed measuring light source, and it can measure the vehicle speed in a very short time. At present, the maximum speed range of the Laser speed measuring gun and the flow velocity measuring system is in the range of 300~480km/h.

5、S coils and Ku, K band fixed speed photography:

The fixed S coil can use the coil induction to detect the red light, the red light line and the overspeed. K band fixed speed measurement system uses K band (24.125GHz) radar to speed up photography. The Traffipax Kband fixed speed camera system is almost at the rear of the car, and the power is very weak. Even the orthodox beauty gauge sometimes detects distance still less than 100m. As for the X band fixed photographic system, it is rare in China. The highest speed range of the domestic fixed speed measuring system (S coil, radar system) is in the range of 200~270km. What is the working principle of the fixed induction coil? The coil should be induced by weight. The new S coil usually has two front and back lines of induction, which can be used to show a picture of a red light and an overspeed vehicle.
